"A Community that SWEATS Together, STAYS Together."
We want to provide a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for adults, kids, and athletes of all ages to learn, improve, and reach their health and fitness goals. Most importantly we want to be a place that people leave healthier and happier than when they walked in.
Teen Athlete of the Month- Chuck White
One of the most rewarding things to experience as a strength/fitness coach is seeing your athletes perform and excel in their perspective sports when they have put the work in! Chuck came to us last March with a solid base but I knew there was so much more potential if he committed. Fast forward 14 months and Chuck has not disappointed! He teamed up with Tyler and although they gripe, complain, whine and laugh they also GRIND, COMPETE and almost never miss a session! Consistency is key to improving and making gains and these two have embodied that principle. The best part has been seeing their performances on the field and court to help their teams and the deserving accolades that have come along with it! Great job Chuck you deserve everything that has and will continue to be coming your way! Even if you whine a lot about it LOL!
~Exline
Tell us a little about yourself and family- Hobbies, interests, where you grew up, occupation, etc.
Grew up in the Banks area, have been lifting since 8th grade and I’ve been going to CrossFit for just over a year.
How did you hear about BCF and what made you want to join?
With my gym closing due to COIVID I talked to the Exlines and they welcomed me into the box.
What motivates you to come to the box week after week?
Seeing the results pay off in my sports seasons and overall feeling healthy.
What are your goals? Personal, professional, and/or athletic?
Goals by end of summer:
3 plate bench/clean
4 plate squat and
5 plate deadlift.
What is your favorite lift, movement or WOD? Least Favorite?
Least favorite lift is squats and personally I don’t think I have ever liked a WOD but upper body day is always a good day!
What is your proudest CF moment?
Out benching Tyler Exline weekly!
What is one tip you would give someone who is interested in CrossFit or new to CrossFit?
Don’t hesitate, join and you will see results.
Biggest impact CrossFit has made in your life?
Helped me get overall stronger especially when a lot of gyms were closed which put me and my fellow teammates ahead of the game when we got to the season.
